This is a large shopping mall in the central area of Chiba New Town. With a food court and restaurants available, everyone can be satisfied even if the kids' tastes differ. The mall is air-conditioned, making it a perfect rest spot to cool your body down before outdoor play. Stocking up here on towels, a change of clothes, drinks, sunscreen, and anything else you're missing for water play means you won't be caught scrambling at the park. It also has a nursing room and baby rest area, making it an easy midday base even with a baby along.

Tips

The food court gets crowded around noon on weekends and holidays, so shifting to late morning around 11am or after 1pm makes it easier to get a seat. It's also a good idea to pick up a plastic bag here for wet clothes to make the trip home easier. The parking lot is large, so parking near the exit toward the park shortens your walk.

About 1 hour 20 minutes. After 1pm is comfortable if you want to avoid the crowds
