Near Boso no Mura, this is Sakae Town's hub for tourism and community exchange. There is a sales area for locally grown farm produce, so you can enjoy shopping while looking over the vegetables of the season. Since there is somewhere to eat, it makes just the right stop for settling down after the morning's sightseeing. Stock up here on drinks and snacks ready for the afternoon water play. There is plenty of greenery around, and simply sitting on an outdoor bench in the breeze is enough to relax you.

成田市の坂田ヶ池総合公園にある、無料の水遊び場「坂田ヶ池総合公園龍の泉・渓流の径」です。吊り橋「龍の道」の下に、龍の頭を想わせる岩から水が湧き出る「龍の泉」があり、その水が流れていく水路が渓流の径になっています。造形に物語があるぶん、子どもは説明されなくても近づいていき、水がどこから来てどこへ行くのかを自然に追いかけ始めます。簡易プールの持ち込みはできません。開設期間は未発表で、例年は夏休み期間の開放となっているため、事前に公式の案内で確認してから向かってください。池を囲む森が木陰をつくるので、真夏でも休憩をはさみながら長く遊べます。

Tips

開設期間が未発表なので、必ず事前に確認してから出かけてください。簡易プールは持ち込めないので、遊び道具はバケツや水鉄砲など小物にしぼりましょう。岩と水路のまわりは足元がすべりやすいため、脱げにくいマリンシューズがあると安心です。森に囲まれているぶん蚊がいるので、虫よけを持っていくと快適です。

Opening days and meal service times can vary from day to day, so checking the official information is the surest approach. It gets busy around noon on weekends, so arriving a little early makes things smoother. Assume there is no shop at Sakatagaike Comprehensive Park and bring plenty of drinks. There is a car park, making it an easy place to reach by car.
