Around Kimitsu Station, the gateway to Kimitsu City, you will find restaurants, convenience stores and drugstores gathered together. It is easy to choose a meal that suits your children's tastes, and convenient that you can also pick up any towels, drinks or sunscreen you are short of for the water play. The park is only a short trip away, so getting ready here means no scrambling once you arrive. Cooling off in an air-conditioned shop lets you enjoy the afternoon water play with more energy. The fountains stop at 2:45 p.m., so the trick is not to let lunch drag on.

君津市の市街地にある無料の水遊び場「君津中央公園噴水広場」です。噴水は7月4日(土)から8月31日(月)まで、10時から14時45分の時間帯に稼働します。7月については4日・5日・11日・12日と18日以降のみの稼働となるため、7月中旬に出かける計画のときは日付をよく確認してください。噴水広場のほかに複合遊具と芝生広場があるので、水に飽きたら遊具、暑くなったらまた水と、子どもが自分のペースで動けます。裸足での利用はできないので、マリンシューズやサンダルの用意が必須です。利用は無料で、午前は別の場所で過ごし、午後だけ立ち寄るという使い方にもよく合います。

Tips

稼働は14時45分までなので、逆算して12時半すぎには入っておくと2時間ほど遊べます。裸足での利用はできないため、脱げにくいマリンシューズやサンダルを必ず持参してください。噴水のまわりは濡れて滑りやすくなるので、走らないよう声をかけましょう。稼働日や時間は変更されることがあるため、出かける前に君津市の案内で確認してください。

Tips

Restaurants get crowded around noon on weekends and holidays, so going in around 11:00 a.m. means a seat without waiting. Since the fountains run only until 2:45 p.m., head for the park by around 12:15 p.m. at the latest. Bare feet are not permitted, so if you do not have water shoes or sandals, it is reassuring to buy them here.
