A giant air trampoline in the West Gate area of Musashi Kyuryo National Government Park, said to be one of the largest in Japan. The row of pure white domes catches the eye from a distance, and children break into a run the moment they arrive. Just bouncing uses up energy, so playing hard here before lunch sets a good rhythm for the afternoon water play. It is surrounded by greenery, and you can watch over the children from benches in the shade. It gets busy at times, but the area is large, so long waits in line are rare. Park admission is 450 yen for adults, free for junior high school students and younger, and 210 yen for seniors.

比企郡滑川町の国営武蔵丘陵森林公園にある「国営武蔵丘陵森林公園水遊び場」です。2026年は5月2日(土)から9月27日(日)まで、9:30〜16:30の時間帯に開放されます(悪天候時は休止)。水遊び場そのものは無料で、別途入園料として大人450円・中学生以下無料・シルバー210円がかかります。更衣室と救護所、売店が用意されているので、着替えや急なけがにも対応しやすいのが家族連れにはありがたいところ。まわりに木陰があり、大人は座って見守りながら子どもを遊ばせられます。5月の連休から9月末まで長い期間開いているため、真夏を避けて初夏や秋口に訪れる計画も立てられます。

Tips

悪天候時は休止になるため、出発前に公園の公式サイトで当日の状況を確認してください。園内は非常に広く、駐車場から水遊び場までも歩きます。着替えは更衣室で済ませられますが、混み合う時間帯もあるのでタオルを多めに持っていくと安心です。おむつが取れていない子は水遊び用おむつを用意しましょう。終了は16:30なので、16時をめどに片づけを始めると余裕を持って帰れます。

Tips

The bouncing surface can get hot in the sun, so bringing socks keeps the soles of your feet comfortable. Children run around a lot, so keep them hydrated. You will work up quite a sweat here, so planning one change of clothes before the afternoon water play makes for a more pleasant day.
