A plaza built on an artificial deck adjoining Saitama Super Arena in Saitama Shintoshin. The scenery is distinctive, with real zelkova trees standing in neat rows on top of concrete, and you can eat at a table in the shade. There are restaurants and cafes, so you will not be short of options even with children. Even though it is surrounded by buildings, a breeze passes through, and the fact that it is surprisingly comfortable even in midsummer is part of the fun. On days with events it is lively, and you can taste the urban air of Omiya and Saitama Shintoshin.

Tips

It gets crowded on weekends, public holidays and event days, so allowing extra time is reassuring. There are many outdoor seats, so choose an indoor restaurant on rainy days. In preparation for the afternoon water play, it is handy to top up on drinks and towels around here.
