This spacious lawn plaza in the southern district is above all valuable for being located right next to the water play area. Large trees line the area, so choosing a shady spot to spread your picnic sheet makes lunchtime much more comfortable. Even if children run around the lawn after eating, they stay within easy view, letting the adults sit and relax. Keeping your belongings gathered here lets you use this spot as a base for changing clothes and resting after water play too. Planning around bringing your own bento rather than relying on a shop means you don't need to worry about crowded times.

Tips

It's safer not to go straight into the water right after eating — rest for about 30 minutes before moving on. Shady spots fill up from before noon, so it's smoother to check the position of the trees and pick your spot early. Taking trash home with you is the general rule, so bring extra bags.
