仙台市泉区のやまいちサステナパーク七北田公園にある、無料の「七北田公園水遊び場」です。園内には泉ケ池やカムリの池といった水場があり、夏の日ざしの下で足をひたしたり水しぶきをあげたりして遊べます。すぐそばに大型遊具と芝生広場があるので、水に飽きたら遊具へ、走り疲れたらまた水へと、子どもが自分のペースで一日を組み立てられるのが大きな魅力です。都市緑化ホールに授乳室とおむつ交換台があり、小さな子を連れていても休憩や着替えの心配が少なくて済みます。料金は無料なので、短時間だけ立ち寄る使い方も気軽にできます。

Tips

Restaurants get crowded around noon on weekends, so arriving a little earlier, around 11, makes it easier to get a table. Picking up plastic bags and spare towels here in preparation for the afternoon water play makes the trip home easier. If you come by subway, the complex is linked to the station, so you can move without worrying about steps even with a stroller.
