A facility inside Yamaichi Sustena Park Nanakita Park (七北田公園) devoted to greenery and gardening. It has displays of seasonal flowers and offers gardening advice, making it just the right place to escape the heat outside and catch your breath. There is a nursing room and a diaper-changing table, so families with babies will find it easy to use as a base. You can also get changes of clothes ready before heading to the water play area, or cool off in the shade, which makes it practical as well. Learning the names of plants from the displays makes a walk in the park far more fun.

仙台市泉区のやまいちサステナパーク七北田公園にある、無料の「七北田公園水遊び場」です。園内には泉ケ池やカムリの池といった水場があり、夏の日ざしの下で足をひたしたり水しぶきをあげたりして遊べます。すぐそばに大型遊具と芝生広場があるので、水に飽きたら遊具へ、走り疲れたらまた水へと、子どもが自分のペースで一日を組み立てられるのが大きな魅力です。都市緑化ホールに授乳室とおむつ交換台があり、小さな子を連れていても休憩や着替えの心配が少なくて済みます。料金は無料なので、短時間だけ立ち寄る使い方も気軽にできます。

開設期間は未発表で、例年は夏休み期間の運用です。出かける前に仙台市の案内で当日の状況を確認してください。水深は浅くても目を離さず、大人が必ず付き添ってください。日陰は木の下に限られるので、帽子と飲み物、休憩用のレジャーシートを忘れずに。おむつが取れていない子は水遊び用おむつを用意してください。遊んだあとは水道で足元をよく流し、着替えてから帰ると体が冷えません。

Tips
