About this spot

This is Miyazaki City signature seaside park, laid out along the Hitotsuba coast. White sand, broad lawns and a pine grove stretching out behind combine to make it the perfect place to spend time gazing at the sea. Today is not for swimming: instead, spread a sheet in the shade of the pines, eat lunch and let the sea breeze do the resting for you. Simply hunting for shells at the water edge or drawing pictures in the sand is enough to satisfy children. The afternoon fountain plaza is only a short drive away, so even a long break will not throw off the schedule.

「国際海浜エントランスプラザ北エントランス噴水広場」は、宮崎市一ツ葉にある緑に囲まれた水遊び場です。公園の公式案内が「親水施設[噴水]1箇所」と明記しており、2026年は令和8年7月18日(土)から9月27日(日)まで、9:00〜17:00で水遊びができます。周囲を木々が囲んでいるため直射日光がやわらぎ、真夏でも比較的過ごしやすいのが特徴です。隣には草花広場とお花見広場があり、水に飽きたら散歩に出て気分を変えられます。東屋2棟とベンチ2台があるので、荷物番をしながら交代で見守るスタイルにも向いています。管理は阿波岐原森林公園市民の森が行っています。

Tips

降雨時は中止となります。また清掃日は噴水を停止し終日利用休止となり、日程は別途案内されるため、出発前に公園からのお知らせを確認してください。噴水まわりの床は濡れると滑りやすいので、走らないよう声をかけましょう。17時に終了となるため、着替えの時間を見込んで16時半には切り上げ始めると余裕があります。日陰は限られているので、東屋が埋まっている場合に備えて簡易テントやシートがあると便利です。

Tips

The swimming season and permitted areas change from year to year, so if you do enter the water, always follow the on-site signage. The sun on the sand is fierce and the glare is harsh, so be sure to work shaded rest breaks into your time there. Checking where the rinsing taps are in advance makes cleaning up before you get back in the car much easier.
