About this spot

This is a hub for children's play and community exchange in Iwanuma City. There is an indoor play area and large water play equipment, so kids can move their bodies and play regardless of the weather. At the direct-sale stand, vegetables and fruit grown by local farmers are on display, letting you experience a ‘face-to-face shopping’ style different from a supermarket, together with your children. Choosing here the fruit that will become an afternoon snack makes the breaks between water play something to look forward to. Since there are places to spend time both outdoors and indoors, it's also reassuring that plans are less affected by the weather.

If you're going to carry the fruit you buy around, an insulated bag is reassuring in summer. On days with strong sunlight, the inside of the greenhouse gets hot, so try not to linger too long.
