Ikime no Mori Sports Park

About this spot

This Miyazaki City sports park next to the Ikime Burial Mound Group has a baseball stadium and playing fields. Lawns and stands of trees surround the sports facilities, so you can find just the right spot to spread a mat and eat your bento. You can walk straight over from the burial mounds and the Yukokan museum, so you do not have to detour for lunch, which is an advantage of this course. After eating, flop down in the shade and get your energy back for the afternoon water play. For children who want to run around, simply rolling a ball on the lawn is playground enough.

「大坪池公園噴水広場」は、宮崎市の大坪池公園(福祉文化公園)の一角にある、夏季のみ稼働する平面噴水です。宮崎市は公式に「公園の一角には平面噴水が設置され終日子供たちのはしゃぎ声でいっぱい」と紹介しており、地面から水が吹き上がるタイプなので、深さを気にせず小さな子でも安心して遊べます。開設は7月から9月末までの予定で、時間は8:00〜19:00と長く、朝でも夕方でも都合のよい時間に立ち寄れるのが便利です。園内には芝生広場、遊具、散策路がそろい、水に飽きたら遊具、体が冷えたら芝生でひと休みと、子どもが自分のペースで遊び続けられます。東屋1棟とベンチ2台があるので、大人は日陰から見守れます。
