The Lawn Plaza at Taikoyama Land Prefectural Park is an open resting spot surrounded by groves of trees. So that you need not wander about looking for a shop, this course recommends bringing a bento and spreading a sheet in the shade. Right beside it runs the Murmuring Stream Path, a brook modelled on the rivers that flow across the Toyama Plain, so you can walk to the sound of water to settle your stomach. Combination play equipment is nearby too, so you can move your body a little after eating before going on to the afternoon plan. The shade shifts position as the hours pass, so choose a spot where the shadow of the trees is deep.

「県民公園太閤山ランド噴水パラダイス」は、射水市の県民公園太閤山ランドの水辺の広場からイベント広場にかけてある無料の水遊びスポットです。公式サイトには「眺めるだけでなく、中に入って水遊びできる噴水です。水のトンネル、クレヨンの噴水、水の柱の3つの噴水が楽しめます」と紹介されており、2020年春のリニューアルで生まれ変わりました。3種類の噴水はそれぞれ水の出方が違うので、くぐる、走り抜ける、打たれると遊び方を変えながら長く楽しめます。公式ニュースによると2026年は3月20日(金・祝)に稼働を開始しており、終了日は未発表です。入園は無料で駐車場のみ有料、園内には富山平野を流れる川をイメージした小川「せせらぎの道」、複合遊具、芝生広場、有料のプール広場もそろっているので、水に飽きても行き先に困りません。

Tips

終了日は未発表なので、秋口に訪れる場合は事前に稼働状況を確認してください。3月から4月の稼働開始直後は水も気温も低いため、この時期は短時間にとどめ、羽織るものを必ず持って行きましょう。噴水のまわりは濡れて滑りやすいので走らないよう声をかけてください。駐車場は有料です。着替えの場所は限られるため、タオルポンチョがあると手早く済みます。30分に一度は日陰で休憩し、水分をこまめに取りましょう。

Tips

Preparing and bringing your own bento and drinks is the sure approach. Taking your rubbish home is the rule, so prepare plenty of bags. The park is large, so remembering where you parked in relation to the Lawn Plaza will keep you from getting lost. Resting for about 30 minutes after eating before moving on to play makes it less likely anyone will feel unwell.
