A community facility of Asahi Town standing beside the Jade Coast. It is a bright space where large windows look out over the sea, and you can rest properly after tiring yourselves out collecting stones. Local information is gathered here, so you can also be shown how to tell jade apart and what else is worth seeing nearby. Being able to step into a cool interior after time in the sun by the sea is a huge help when planning a summer day. Finishing lunch and a rest here means you can head calmly into the afternoon water play.

「あさひ未来パークじゃぶじゃぶ池」は、朝日町の泊駅南に整備された新しい公園「あさひ未来パーク」にある水遊び場です。遊具広場は2026年5月2日に部分開園したばかりで、屋根付きの大型遊具が児童用・幼児用・乳幼児用の3エリアに分けられているのが大きな特徴です。屋根があるおかげで真夏でも遊具が熱くなりすぎず、日差しを避けながら遊べるのは新しい公園ならではの造りといえます。年齢別にエリアが分かれているので、きょうだいの年が離れていても安心して見ていられます。じゃぶじゃぶ池の通水期間は町公式に記載がないため、訪れる前に確認しておくのが確実です。町公式は「じゃぶじゃぶ池の注意事項」として、滑りやすいので走らないよう案内しています。

町公式が「滑りやすいので走らない」と案内しています。遊ぶ前に必ず子どもと約束しておきましょう。じゃぶじゃぶ池の通水期間と利用料金は町公式に記載がないため、訪れる前に朝日町へ確認してください。開園して間もない公園なので、設備や利用ルールが変わることがあります。現地の掲示も見ておくと安心です。泊駅の南側にあるので、電車で訪れることもできます。30分に一度は水から上がって水分を取り、日陰で休憩をはさみながら遊んでください。おむつが取れていない子は水遊び用おむつを用意しましょう。

Check the opening hours, closing days and what food is served in advance. Seats can fill up during busy periods, so shifting your timing lets you settle in comfortably. If you got wet or sandy on the beach, brush yourself off before entering the building. It is a short drive from here to Asahi Mirai Park.
