The Wanpaku Playground in Yatsushiro Furusato Park has a large combination play structure renewed in April 2024. The design is themed on burial mounds and earthenware, and it is interesting how firmly it expresses the character of this park. Fitness equipment is installed alongside it, so accompanying adults can loosen up their bodies too. Spread a sheet on the lawn plaza for lunch and the breeze crossing the hilltop feels wonderful. In spring the cherry forest of 300 cherry trees blooms, while in summer the green shade becomes a resting place.

八代ふるさと公園親水広場(水の遊び場)は、丘の上の公園にある夏の水遊びスポットです。利用は無料で、まわりに芝生広場が広がっているため、水から上がったらすぐにシートを敷いて休めます。丘の上なので風が抜け、盆地の街なかよりも過ごしやすいのがこの公園の強みです。園内には令和6年4月にリニューアルした古墳モチーフの大型複合遊具、わんぱく広場、国史跡の銚子塚古墳と盃塚古墳、桜300本の桜の森、展望ふるさと館、リニア展望台、多目的広場までそろっており、水遊びに飽きても行き先に困りません。遊びと学びを行ったり来たりできる、笛吹市らしい公園です。

料金は無料です。開設期間は未発表(例年は夏季)なので、出発前に笛吹市の公式ページ(https://www.city.fuefuki.yamanashi.jp/shisetsu/koen/005.html)で必ず確認してください。日差しをさえぎるものが限られるので、ポップアップテントかタープがあると快適です。丘の上まで坂を上がるため、ベビーカーより抱っこひものほうが動きやすい場面があります。着替えの場所は限られるので、タオルポンチョを用意しておくと安心です。

Tips

Use is free. A place to eat is not always available in the park, so bringing a packed lunch is the sure choice. On summer afternoons the metal parts of the play equipment get hot, so check the temperature before touching. The multipurpose field is also large, so be considerate of those around you when playing ball games.
