Yamanashi Fujikawa Craft Park covers an area equal to about 11 Tokyo Domes, and its play areas are on a matching scale. The large fort-shaped play structure is full of places to climb and crawl through, and children invent their own ways to play. The Fuwafuwa bouncing dome, for ages 3 to 12, is a favorite where simply jumping is enough. There is also the giant Flower Maze and a broad lawn, so you can keep going as long as energy holds out. Working up a sweat here before the water play makes the Grand Fountain feel even better.

山梨県富士川クラフトパーク大噴水は、125個の穴からランダムに水が吹き上がる、直接入って遊べる無料の水遊びスポットです。どの穴からいつ水が出るか分からないので、子どもは水柱を追いかけたり避けたりしながら、あっという間に全身びしょぬれになります。稼働は4月下旬から10月中旬までの9:30〜16:00で、具体的な開始日・終了日は未発表です。公園は年中無休・終日開放・入園無料で、東京ドーム約11個分の広さに砦遊具広場、ふわふわドーム、巨大迷路のフラワーメイズ、芝生広場、カヌー場、バーベキュー場までそろっています。園内には富士川・切り絵の森美術館があり、隣には道の駅みのぶもあるので、1日いても飽きることがありません。

料金は無料です。水が出るのは9:30〜16:00なので、夕方遅くの到着だと止まっている点に注意してください。開始日・終了日は未発表のため、出発前に公式ページ(https://www.kirienomori.jp/guide/16/)で必ず確認を。全身がぬれるので着替えは多めに用意しましょう。噴水のまわりは足元がすべりやすいので、走りすぎないよう声をかけてください。日陰が少ないため、ポップアップテントかタープがあると休憩が楽になります。

Tips

Both admission and the play equipment are free. The bouncing dome is for ages 3 to 12, so children outside that range should use the nearby playground instead. On summer afternoons the dome surface gets hot, so check the temperature before letting anyone touch it. The park is large, so choosing a parking lot near the Grand Fountain makes moving around easier.
