Inside Verga, Hakushu Ojiro Forest Springwater Park, play equipment such as a rock wall, a zip line and slides is set among the trees. Being surrounded by forest softens the sunlight, which is what makes this park easy to move around in even at the height of summer. There is also a fountain, so the mood shifts naturally from the play equipment to the water. The grounds also have a campsite and the sunny pick shop and cafe, so you will not be stuck for a break or for shopping. Working up a sweat before the water play makes the cold water of the Southern Japanese Alps feel just right.

白州・尾白の森名水公園べるが親水広場は、人工的につくられた流れのある浅い池で、赤ちゃんや幼児でも安心して遊べる水遊び場です。自然の渓流と違って水深が管理されているので、小さな子を連れていても目の届く範囲で遊ばせられます。営業は9:00〜17:00、水曜定休ですが夏休み期間の7月19日から8月31日までは無休です。基本の利用は無料ですが、夏休み期間(7/19〜8/31)のみ北杜市外の5歳以上は1人200円の入園料がかかります(北杜市民は無料)。園内にはロックウォールやターザンロープ、滑り台などの遊具、噴水、キャンプ場、温泉「尾白の湯」、雑貨＆カフェsunny pickがそろい、遊んだあとに温泉で温まって帰るという締めくくりも選べます。南アルプスの森に包まれた、白州らしい水遊びの場所です。

Tips

料金は無料です。ただし夏休み期間(7/19〜8/31)のみ北杜市外の5歳以上は1人200円の入園料が必要で、北杜市民は無料です。営業は9:00〜17:00、水曜定休(夏休み期間7/19〜8/31は無休)。開設期間は未発表(例年は夏季)なので、出発前に公式ページ(https://www.verga.info/play)で必ず確認してください。標高が高く水が冷たいので、体が冷えたらすぐ上がれるようバスタオルと羽織るものを用意しましょう。遊んだあとは併設の温泉「尾白の湯」で温まれるので、入浴用のタオルも別に持っていくと便利です。

Tips

Use of the play equipment is included with entry. The zip line and rock wall sometimes call for movements suited to elementary school age and up, so a guardian should stay with smaller children. The altitude is high, so mornings and evenings are cool and one extra layer to throw on is reassuring. If you plan to use the cafe, check its opening hours on site.
