About this spot

A park in Kasamatsu Town spreading out beside the embankment of the Kiso River. The lawn plaza is generously sized, with many spots just right for laying out a sheet and eating a packed lunch. Play equipment is installed too, which makes it easy to build a flow of moving your body after the meal and then heading into the water. Climbing up onto the embankment gives you a view over the flow of the Kiso River, where you can imagine traces of the port that boats once crossed. The splash pond and the babbling waterway are inside the same park, so you can keep your belongings in one place, which families with children will appreciate.

羽島郡笠松町の木曽川河畔にある無料の水遊び場「笠松みなと公園じゃぶじゃぶ池・せせらぎ水路」です。浅く整えられたじゃぶじゃぶ池と、細く水が流れるせせらぎ水路がセットになっていて、年齢に合わせて遊び方を選べます。まだ歩き始めたばかりの子は水路のふちで水にふれるところから、走り回れる子は池の中で水をかけあってと、それぞれのペースで楽しめるつくりです。同じ園内に遊具と芝生広場があるので、水にあきたら遊具、疲れたら芝生でひと休みと行き来できるのも助かります。木曽川の堤がすぐそばにあり、川の町らしい開けた景色の中で過ごせるのもこの公園ならではです。

2026年の開設期間と稼働時間は未発表です。出発前に必ず笠松町の公式サイトで確認してください。利用は無料です。池の底で足を痛めないよう、水遊び用サンダルやマリンシューズを用意しましょう。更衣室は想定せず、水着を服の下に着てから出かけると着替えがスムーズです。日陰が限られるので、レジャーシートと帽子、多めの飲み物を忘れずに。水の状態が良くない日は利用が止まることがあるため、現地の掲示に従ってください。

Tips

Use is free. Shaded spots fill up early, so arrive a little sooner if you want to secure one under the trees. In midsummer the play equipment gets hot, so check the temperature by hand before playing. Avoid water play right after eating; rest about 30 minutes before going in.
