Kakamigahara Prefectural Park is a large park that makes use of hilly terrain, and its adventure plaza is equipped with apparatus that uses the whole body. There is a lot of climbing up and down slopes, so elementary school age children will work up a sweat in no time. Climb up to the lookout plaza and you can see the sweep of the Nobi Plain (濃尾平野), a view that comes as a surprise. There is also a lawn plaza, so you are free to spread out a leisure sheet for a packed lunch or lie down when you are worn out from playing. The water play plaza is on the same grounds, so being able to keep all your belongings in one place is another help for families with children.

各務原市の県営各務原公園にある無料の水遊び場「県営各務原公園水遊び広場(噴水広場)」です。夏場は噴水広場の中に入って遊べるようになり、2026年はおおむね6月下旬から9月上旬までの開設予定になっています。水深が浅く、対象は小学6年生以下なので、まだ泳げない小さな子でも自分の足で歩きながら水に親しめます。同じ園内に冒険広場と芝生広場、展望広場があるため、水にあきたら遊具、疲れたら芝生でひと休みと自由に行き来できるのが大きな利点です。丘陵地の公園なので風が抜けやすく、水にぬれた体には気持ちのよい環境。入園も水遊びも無料なので、午前の見学と組み合わせても1日の出費を抑えられます。

Tips

風速5メートル以上、気温25℃未満、気温35℃以上、熱中症警戒アラートの発令時は中止になります。真夏の猛暑日はかえって止まることがあるので、当日の気温と現地の掲示を必ず確認してください。開設期間と稼働時間の詳細も公式の案内で確かめておくと確実です。対象は小学6年生以下です。更衣室は想定せず、水着を服の下に着てから出かけるとスムーズ。足元を守る水遊び用サンダルと、レジャーシート、帽子、多めの飲み物を用意してください。

Tips

Use is free. The metal parts of the equipment get hot in midsummer, so check the temperature by hand before playing. The grounds are hilly, and in some spots a baby carrier is easier to manage than a stroller. For lunch, bringing a packed meal and eating on the lawn is the easiest choice at this park. Choose shaded spots and work breaks into your play.
