Harayama Citizens Park in Takayama City is a spacious park that makes the most of its mountain terrain. The large play structure combines slides, climbing nets and rope bridges, built so that children want to climb back up again and again. Grass sledding down the grassy slope is a pleasure unique to the snow-free season and hugely popular with children. The lawn plaza is generously sized, so you can spread out a picnic sheet, take a rest or lie down as you please. A dog run and a barbecue area are also on site, giving it the relaxed feel of a place where local people spend their days off. Getting into the water after working up a sweat makes the coolness feel even better.

高山市の原山市民公園にある無料の水遊び場「原山市民公園水辺(浅瀬・階段状の滝)」です。流れの緩やかな広い浅瀬と、水が段になって流れ落ちる階段状の滝で構成されていて、深いところがないため小さな子でも自分の足で歩きながら遊べます。階段状の滝は水が落ちる音と手ざわりが楽しく、水が苦手な子でも手をかざすところから少しずつ慣れていけます。広い浅瀬は走り回れる子には格好の遊び場で、水をかけあう歓声が絶えません。すぐそばに大型複合遊具と芝生広場があるので、水にあきたら遊具、疲れたら芝生でひと休みと行き来できるのも助かるところ。標高のある飛騨は真夏でも空気が乾いていて、水遊びのあとが快適なのもこの土地ならではです。

2026年の水遊びの開設期間は未発表です。出発前に必ず高山市の案内で確認してください。公園そのものは終日自由に入園できますが、水が流れていない日もあります。石で足を切らないよう、水遊び用サンダルやマリンシューズを必ず用意しましょう。更衣室は想定せず、水着を服の下に着てから出かけるとスムーズです。山あいなので夕方は急に涼しくなります。上着とタオルを多めに持っていくと安心です。日陰が限られるので、レジャーシートと帽子、多めの飲み物も忘れずに。

Tips

Use is free and the park is open all day. Grass sledding can dirty clothes, so wear something you do not mind getting dirty. Check the on-site information for whether sleds are lent out. In midsummer the metal parts of the play equipment get hot, so check the temperature by hand before playing. Shade is limited to around the trees, so setting up a rest base with a picnic sheet keeps you comfortable.
