Hirugano Wetland Botanical Garden

A botanical garden that makes use of the marshland of Hirugano Highland. Boardwalks are laid out so you can observe the marsh plants without getting your feet wet. Because of the high altitude, you can meet highland plants not seen on the plains, and the flowers in bloom change with the season. It is a place where you can walk and see for yourself what kind of plants water-soaked land raises. Visiting here after learning at Watershed Divide Park where the water goes makes you feel that this whole highland is a place that stores water. The boardwalk is gentle, a distance even small children can walk.

郡上市高鷲町のレジャー施設「ひるがの高原牧歌の里」のキッズパーク内にある水遊び場「ひるがの高原牧歌の里じゃぶじゃぶ池」です。2026年は7月4日(土)から9月中旬まで、オープンから16:30まで利用できます。標高1000メートルのひるがの高原にあるため、平地より空気が涼しく、真夏でも子どもが遊びやすい気候なのがいちばんの魅力です。池は浅くつくられていて、まだ泳げない小さな子でも自分の足で歩きながら水に親しめます。まわりには花畑と牧場が広がり、水遊びの合間に動物を見に行ったり、芝生で休んだりと過ごし方が自由です。夏休みの旅行の一日を、この高原で丸ごと使う価値のある場所です。

Tips

じゃぶじゃぶ池は土足では入れません。裸足になるか、水遊び用サンダルを持参してください。おむつがとれていない子は水遊び用おむつの着用が必須です。専用の更衣室はないので、水着を服の下に着てから出かけ、帰りはタオルで手早く着替えられる準備をしておきましょう。雨天は中止です。当日の実施は公式サイトや現地の案内で確認してください。利用は16:30までなので、この時間を目安に片づけを始めます。入園には料金が必要です。金額は公式サイトで確認してください。高原は夕方に一気に冷えるので、羽織りものを必ず用意しましょう。

Tips

Admission is charged. Check the price and the open season in the official information in advance. Some stretches of the boardwalk are narrow, so give way to one another when passing. Being marshland there are many insects, so repellent and long trousers make it more comfortable. Agree with your children beforehand not to touch the plants.
