A large shopping mall standing right beside Okayama Station (岡山駅). With both a food court and restaurants, its strength is that everyone can be satisfied even when the children want different things. The air-conditioned interior makes an ideal rest stop to recharge before the afternoon of outdoor play. If you buy everything you still need for water play here in one go, such as towels, spare clothes, sunscreen, and drinks, the afternoon will be much lighter. There are nursing rooms and baby rest rooms too, making it an easy midday base even with an infant.

岡山市南区の浦安総合公園[西地区]にある、無料で遊べる水景施設が「浦安総合公園西地区噴水広場」です。2026年は6月15日(月)から10月14日(水)まで(予定)、9:00〜17:00に水が出ます。「水と緑」をテーマにした噴水の下には浅い水たまりができ、小さな子でも安心して水しぶきを浴びられます。すぐそばには市内最大規模の芝生広場と大型遊具があり、水に飽きたら遊具、遊具に飽きたらまた水へと、子どもが自分のペースで遊び続けられるのがこの公園の強みです。管理事務所があるので、困ったときに相談できるのも家族連れには心強いところ。無料なので、短時間だけ立ち寄る使い方もできます。

Tips

月曜(祝日の場合は火曜)は清掃のため13:30まで休止します。月曜に出かける場合は午後からの計画にしてください。水遊びのあとは体が冷えるので、着替えとタオルは人数分そろえておきましょう。駐車場は2時間まで無料、以後1時間100円・1日500円なので小銭を用意しておくと安心です。日陰は木陰と遊具まわりに限られるため、レジャーシートやポップアップテントで自分たちの休憩場所を作ると、長時間でも疲れにくくなります。

Tips

The food court gets crowded around noon on weekends and holidays, so arriving before noon or after 13:00 makes seats easier to find. The parking lot holds many cars, which can mean a slow exit, so allow extra time for your departure. If you are out of plastic bags for wet clothes, buying some here makes the trip home easier.
