About this spot

An airfield in Urayasu-minamimachi, Minami Ward, Okayama City, a few minutes south of Urayasu General Park by car. Rather than scheduled jets, the traffic is mostly light aircraft and helicopters, so the planes taking off feel very close. The wide, unobstructed sky and the view of the runway alone make a special sight for children. If you are lucky you will catch the moment of a takeoff or landing, and the big engine noise brings cheers. As a short detour before the water play, it is just the right size.

岡山市南区の浦安総合公園[西地区]にある、無料で遊べる水景施設が「浦安総合公園西地区噴水広場」です。2026年は6月15日(月)から10月14日(水)まで(予定)、9:00〜17:00に水が出ます。「水と緑」をテーマにした噴水の下には浅い水たまりができ、小さな子でも安心して水しぶきを浴びられます。すぐそばには市内最大規模の芝生広場と大型遊具があり、水に飽きたら遊具、遊具に飽きたらまた水へと、子どもが自分のペースで遊び続けられるのがこの公園の強みです。管理事務所があるので、困ったときに相談できるのも家族連れには心強いところ。無料なので、短時間だけ立ち寄る使い方もできます。

Tips

月曜(祝日の場合は火曜)は清掃のため13:30まで休止します。月曜に出かける場合は午後からの計画にしてください。水遊びのあとは体が冷えるので、着替えとタオルは人数分そろえておきましょう。駐車場は2時間まで無料、以後1時間100円・1日500円なので小銭を用意しておくと安心です。日陰は木陰と遊具まわりに限られるため、レジャーシートやポップアップテントで自分たちの休憩場所を作ると、長時間でも疲れにくくなります。

Tips

There is no fixed flight schedule, so treat whether you see an aircraft as a matter of luck on the day and stop by without expecting too much. Follow the on-site signage regarding where you may enter or observe, and do not park or stop on the road. There is little shade, so be sure to take a hat and drinks with you when you leave the car.
