About this spot

One of the highlights of Kyogamaru Green Park is the 80m long slide that uses the slope of the hill. The rush of dropping that distance in one go is nothing like the slides at a flat neighborhood park. Adventure play equipment is set out around it, so children can combine climbing, crossing, and hanging until they have used up every bit of energy. A 300m wisteria trellis provides shade, so there is no trouble finding a place to lay out lunch and rest. There is also the indoor play facility Wakuwaku Dragon House, a dependable refuge when the sun is too strong or rain arrives suddenly.

井原市の「経ヶ丸グリーンパーク水遊び場」は、丘陵地に広がる大型レクリエーション施設の中にある、夏場の水遊びスポットです。80mのロング滑り台やアスレチックで汗をかいたあとに水へ入れるので、遊びの流れが自然につながるのがこの施設の強み。基本の利用は無料で、一部の施設が有料になります。園内にはオートキャンプ場やパターゴルフ場もあり、家族の人数や年齢に合わせて過ごし方を選べる懐の深さがあります。300mに及ぶ藤棚が長い日陰を作ってくれるので、付き添う大人が休める場所に困らないのもうれしいところ。丘の上なので風が通り、市街地より過ごしやすく感じられます。

2026年の水遊び場の開設期間は未発表です。例年は夏休み期間なので、出発前に施設の案内で当日水が出るかを確認してください。丘の上で移動に坂が多いため、着替えやタオルは水遊び場のそばまで持っていくと往復せずに済みます。濡れた足で滑り台やアスレチックに向かうと危ないので、体をふいてから移動する約束をしておきましょう。日ざしが強い時間は室内遊戯施設「わくわくドラゴンハウス」や藤棚の日陰を活用してください。着替えとタオル、濡れた服を入れるビニール袋は人数分そろえておくと帰りが楽です。

Tips

The slide is hard on the seat of your trousers, so thick trousers or a proper sliding mat make it more comfortable. Sliding in wet clothes is dangerous, so save the water play until after the slide. There are many slopes in the park, so wear shoes that are easy to walk in and take care with a stroller. Some facilities such as Wakuwaku Dragon House may charge a fee or have conditions of use, so check the information on site. As a rule, take your rubbish home with you.
