Kasugano Central Park (春日野中央公園) sits within a hilltop residential area and is well loved by children in the local community. It has a spacious lawn plaza and a large combination play structure, and with gazebos and shelters in place, you won't be short of places to rest. A good order to follow is to first spread out a sheet in the shade and eat lunch, then rest a bit before heading to the play equipment. Being on high ground, the breeze passes through, and stepping into the shade of a tree feels noticeably more comfortable even in midsummer. A convenient feature of this park is that once you've worked up a sweat on the play equipment, you can head straight to the Seseragi Stream (せせらぎ) at the Water-Play Plaza (親水広場).

Tips

Places to buy food within the park are limited, so it's reassuring to bring your own lunch and drinks. Gazebos and shelters are popular, so secure a spot early. Play equipment can get hot in the sun during summer, touch the slide's surface to check the temperature before letting children play on it. Taking your trash home with you is standard practice. Since this is a park within a residential area, please also be mindful of noise levels.
