About this spot

Affectionately known as Shimin-no-Mori, the Citizens' Forest, and as the Flower Park, this is a botanical park of about 8.6 hectares. You are free to spend your time as you like, walking between flower beds full of seasonal blooms or relaxing on the plaza in front of the outdoor stage. The generous lawn plaza is perfect for laying out a picnic sheet and eating a boxed lunch. There are many groves inside the park, so even on hot days you can move from shade to shade. Because the water play area is in the same park, you do not have to carry your luggage anywhere in the afternoon, which is a real help.

Tips

The park is large, so checking the layout from the parking lot to the playground area with the water play spot in advance makes moving around easier. Remind children not to step into the flower beds. Mosquitoes can appear in the shade, so insect repellent makes things more comfortable.
