A seaside park developed along the coast of Chita City, with a man-made sandy beach and open plazas. It faces Ise Bay (伊勢湾), and on clear days there is an open feeling with views all the way to the far shore. Walking along the water's edge to look for shells or leaving footprints in the sand lets even small children engage with the sea at their own pace. Touching seawater, different from the pond and the water play area you visit later, lets you feel how water changes its face over the course of the day. There is little to block the sun, so keeping the stop short is recommended.

月曜と年末年始は休園です。着替えとタオルは持参するのがおすすめで、公式でも案内されています。終了日が公表されていないため、9月に訪れる場合は公式サイトで開設状況を確認してください。17:00までの開設なので、片付けと着替えの時間を逆算して16時半ごろには上がると落ち着いて帰れます。水遊び後は体をよく流し、木陰で休憩をはさみながら遊ぶと熱中症を防げます。おむつが取れていない子には水遊び用おむつを用意してください。

Tips
