Meguro Fudoson Ryusenji Temple (目黒不動尊瀧泉寺)

About this spot

Ryusenji, known affectionately as Meguro Fudoson, is a temple that has drawn worshippers since ancient times as one of the Five-Colored Fudo of Edo. The main hall stands at the top of a steep flight of stone steps, and simply looking up from below feels like a small adventure for a child. Water known as Tokko Falls flows within the grounds, making it a fitting place to begin a day centered on water. Traditional shops line the approach, and the atmosphere of the street itself conveys the history of the Meguro area. Rinshi-no-Mori Park is within walking distance, so you will not lose time in transit.

林試の森公園ジャブジャブ池は、品川区の林試の森公園にある無料の水遊び場です。2026年のシーズンは7/1(水)〜9/30(水)、時間は10:00〜14:50で、午前の部10:00〜11:50と午後の部13:00〜14:50の入替制になっています。この公園はもと林業試験場で、園内には各地から集められた大木が育っており、水遊び場のまわりにも日陰が多いのが大きな特長です。強い日差しを避けながら休憩できるので、小さな子ども連れでも体力を削られにくく過ごせます。料金は無料で、園内にはトイレもあります。着替え場所はないため、水着を下に着ていくかタオルポンチョを用意しておくと支度がスムーズです。

Tips

毎週木曜(7/2を除く)は点検清掃のため休止します。荒天時や気温25℃以下の日は中止になるので、出発前に公式のお知らせで開設状況を確認してください。午前の部と午後の部の入替制なので、13:00の午後の部に合わせて入ると最後まで遊べます。着替え場所はありません。日陰は多い公園ですが、水分補給はこまめに行ってください。

Tips

There are many stone steps in the grounds, so it is safer to leave the stroller at the bottom and carry your child up. A fair is held on the 28th of every month, when the approach becomes lively. Agreeing in advance to worship quietly helps everyone stay calm. Shops are limited, so prepare drinks before you leave.
