The central library of Meguro Ward, on the grounds of the Meguro Kumin Campus. The high-ceilinged, well-lit interior feels open, and the children's book corner is provided with low shelves and a space for reading aloud. Because it is on the same site as the water play area, calling in before or after changing costs nothing in travel. It is air-conditioned, so it is also just the place to settle a body flushed from playing outside. It is dependable as somewhere to take shelter if the weather suddenly turns.

Tips

Check the opening hours and the closed days on the official page of the Meguro City libraries in advance. It is a place to spend time quietly, so tell small children about keeping their voices down. Eating and drinking are not allowed outside the designated places. Avoid entering while carrying wet swimwear or luggage; arranging your plan so that you call in before the water play makes for a pleasant visit.
