A cozy, small-scale amusement park next to the Tochigi Prefectural Museum of Science for Children. Its hallmark is a lineup of rides even small children can enjoy, such as the Ferris wheel and carousel, making it well suited for a first amusement park visit. Entry itself is casual, and since you only buy tickets for the rides you want, even a short visit is worthwhile. The view over the Nishikawada area from the Ferris wheel is also a great way to spot the direction of the park you'll head to in the afternoon. There's a shop on site, so you can grab a light lunch or snack here too.

Check ride ticket prices, opening hours, and closing days on the official website beforehand. Some rides have height or age restrictions, so be sure to check the signage at the ride before lining up. Shade is limited, so don't forget sun protection and drinks for the wait.
