About this spot

A cafe set up in the park as part of Otani Plaza's (大谷広場) renewal. Having a place to sit and rest inside the park, with cold drinks and light snacks available, is a real help on a summer outing with children. After being active in the morning, you can cool off here before heading into the afternoon's water play. It is located where you can look out over the plaza, so you could rest a younger child here while watching an older sibling play.

Tips

If you want a full meal, it also works to bring rice balls or sandwiches and picnic on the lawn. Seats can fill up quickly around lunchtime during summer vacation, so visiting a little early or after 13:00 tends to be calmer. Please take your trash home with you as a rule, and follow the guidance posted in the park.

Best time to visit

About 50 minutes. Best used as a break to cool off before water play.
