About this spot

This children's center is attached to Heisei Seseragi Park (平成せせらぎ公園). It's a place where small children can play safely indoors, and it also offers a 'third place' where children can spend time. After being in the sun at the beach, it's a good stop to cool your body in the air-conditioned interior. Since it's on the same grounds as the park, there's no burden of moving between locations at all. This is the day's midpoint, where you recover energy ahead of the afternoon's water play.

Opening hours and rules of use are set by the facility, so it's a good idea to check with Makinohara City before your visit to be sure. Also check whether eating is allowed there, and decide based on the day's situation — for example, having lunch in the park's shade or in the car. Since it's indoors, it's more comfortable to sort out any wet items from the beach at the entrance before going in.
