About this spot

A facility in Hidaka City where you can enjoy pork raised locally, from processing and sales to dining, all in one place. The meat shop is lined with hams and sausages, and the restaurant and food court let you savor freshly grilled sausages and pork dishes. The grounds have a grassy plaza and play equipment, making it easy for families to let children move around before or after eating. A natural hot spring is also on-site, but since the pool awaits in the afternoon, it's best to focus on dining and shopping on this day.

Tips

The dining areas get crowded around lunchtime, so visiting early, around 11 AM, is a good way to cut down on wait times. It's about a 10-minute drive to Hidaka City Public Pool. Since the pool has only limited concessions, it's a good idea to pick up drinks and snacks here beforehand. The sun is strong in the grassy plaza, so don't forget a hat.
