Minoge Nature Observation Forest (蓑毛自然観察の森)

Flow of the course

About this spot

A roughly 2-hectare forest adjacent to Ryokusuian, always open with free admission. Most of it is a deciduous forest of sawtooth oak and konara oak, and in late autumn you can walk through the bright, leaf-shed forest floor. Simply walking and crunching through fallen leaves in the light filtering between the trees is enjoyable even for children - a quintessential satoyama walking spot.

Tips

About a 20-minute bus ride from Hadano Station's North Exit, on a bus bound for Minoge or Yabitsu Pass. Some paths in the forest are unpaved, so wear comfortable walking shoes.
