About this spot

A station on the Hakone Tozan Railway, and the gateway to Sensuji-no-taki Falls and Horai-en Garden. The mountain railway from Hakone-Yumoto is a famous line that climbs the mountain by switchback, making the ride itself an attraction as you enjoy the greenery through the window. Step off the train and you are wrapped in the mountain air of a hot-spring town.

Tips

Trains run at limited intervals, so it is reassuring to check your return time in advance. It is about a 20-minute walk from the station to the falls.
