About this spot

A unique lookout spot unique to Tsumagoi, known as a sacred site for devoted husbands. Cabbage fields, among the largest in production volume in Japan, stretch out 360 degrees around you, and the specialty here is shouting your feelings for a loved one from the shout platform atop the hill. It's especially spectacular in summer, when the fields are dyed a lush green, and it makes a perfect break during a drive along the Tsumagoi Panorama Line.

Tips

The highland wind is often strong, so it's reassuring to bring a layer. There's no shop or restroom here, so take care of that beforehand. For photos, the afternoon light is recommended since it comes from behind you.

Best time to visit

Allow 20 to 30 minutes. In summer, the cabbage fields turn a solid green.
