Stroll Along the White Sand and Pine Grove Beach to Conclude Your Day
About this spot
This scenic spot is counted among Japan's three greatest pine groves, featuring white sand and a grove of red and black pines stretching for approximately 1.5 kilometers. Walking through the pine grove reveals the calm Tsuruga Bay ahead, and the sandy beach and shell collecting are favorites among children. The contrast between the green pines, white sand, and blue sea is a sight worthy of the area's designation as a scenic beauty. A leisurely evening walk in the soft light makes for a pleasant conclusion to a day filled with culinary delights and historical exploration.
Tips
Wear shoes or sandals that keep sand out comfortably. The pine grove provides plenty of shade and remains relatively cool even in summer. Free parking is available. If you plan to play at the water's edge, bring towels and a change of clothes.
Best time to visit
Allow approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes. Evening light is soft and gentle, making this the most beautiful time to experience the sea and pine grove views.
