This is the main shop of Rokkatei, famous nationwide for its Marsei Butter Sandwiches. The floral wrapping paper depicting Tokachi flowers has become synonymous with Hokkaido souvenirs. Inside, alongside the signature butter sandwiches and strawberry chocolate, fresh pastries and made-to-order products unique to the main shop are displayed in abundance. One specialty is the crispy pie, famous for its extremely short shelf life. The fresh taste can only be experienced here. A tea room on the second floor allows you to rest with coffee and cake after shopping—another charm of the main shop. Since you can enjoy sweets while seated without walking far, grandparents can relax comfortably after the pork donburi. Tips
About 10 minutes walk from Obihiro Station; also walkable from Panchō through the central shopping district. The tea room can get crowded in mid-afternoon; reserve a seat if one is available.
