Hirosaki Park, centering on Hirosaki Castle, a renowned castle representing the Tohoku region, is known nationwide as a cherry blossom viewing spot in spring, but the landscape enveloped in deep summer greenery is also refreshing and worth visiting. The castle tower, which has existed since the Edo period, is one of the few remaining original castle towers in the Tohoku region, and you can experience Tsugaru history while touring its interior. The moats and stone walls flowing through the vast park and shaded walking paths provide cool spaces that ease the summer heat. Before tonight's fireworks festival, take your time to enjoy this historically significant landscape that represents Aomori.

2026年8月20日(木)19時30分から20時30分まで、平川河畔白鳥ふれあい広場を会場に約3,000発が打ち上がる藤崎町花火大会です。平川の穏やかな流れの上空に開く大輪の花火は、川面にも光を映し、水と光が織りなす美しい情景を生み出します。音は川沿いに響き、打ち上げ音の迫力も見どころの一つです。白鳥の飛来地としても知られる自然豊かな平川河畔で見る花火は、青森の夏の風物詩にふさわしい情緒があります。フィナーレに向けて次々と打ち上がる1時間は、家族みんなの夏の記憶に刻まれるひとときになるでしょう。

Tips

荒天時の開催可否は藤崎町の公式発表で事前に確認してください。終了後は帰りの車や交通機関が混み合うため、フィナーレ後は少し余韻を楽しんでから移動するのがおすすめです。足元が暗くなるため小さなライトを用意し、帰り道は安全に移動しましょう。翌日が平日のため、子どもの就寝時間も考慮した帰路の計画を事前に立てておくと安心です。

Tips

Approximately 30 minutes by car from Fujisaki town. Hirosaki Castle Tower admission is 320 yen for adults (the park is free). Summer may see extended closing hours, so confirm on the official website. To make it in time for the 7:30 PM fireworks start, depart the park by 5:15 PM and head back to Fujisaki town. Multiple parking areas are available.
