A historic site reconstructing the checkpoint that was established as a strategic point on the Tokaido route during the Edo period. Exhibits recreate the lives of travelers passing through the checkpoint, allowing you to experience scenes from history textbooks firsthand. Its location by the lakeside is impressive, with beautiful scenery created by the lake and historic structures.

箱根の夏を締めくくる、芦ノ湖夏まつりウィークのクライマックスとなる花火大会です。湖上から打ち上がる約5,000発の花火は、周囲の山々に音が反響して体の芯まで響く大迫力。静かな湖面に映る「逆さ花火」の美しさも、この会場ならではの魅力です。山と湖に囲まれた特別なロケーションで、忘れられない夏の夜を過ごせます。

Tips

荒天時は中止や順延の可能性があるため、当日は箱根町や大会の公式発表を確認しましょう。会場周辺は当日大変混雑するため、早めの到着と場所取りがおすすめです。標高が高いため夜は冷えるので、羽織ものを忘れずに。

Tips

Within walking distance of Onshi Hakone Park. Admission is a few hundred yen for adults. As outdoor viewing is extensive in summer, take breaks in shaded areas.
