A garden spreading out at the foot of Kangatsu Mountain, featuring a unique landscape where Chinese-style pavilions and gazebos harmonize with Japanese gardens. The area is also known for its connection to the legend of Xu Fu, with various statues and historical sites related to Xu Fu scattered throughout the garden. The quiet environment backed by verdant mountains allows for leisurely strolls even on hot summer days by choosing shaded areas.
Tips
It's approximately 15 minutes by car from the memorial hall. Admission is required. There are slopes throughout the garden, so wear comfortable walking shoes.
Best time to visit
Approximately 1 hour visit time. The afternoon hours with plenty of shade are most comfortable.
