This is a historic site where a castle connected to Shimazu Tadayoshi is said to have been built. While the original buildings no longer stand, you can glimpse remnants in the earthworks and topography. From near the summit, you can overlook the town of Fukiage and the surrounding greenery. It's an appropriately sized spot to include in your historical tour, offering a quiet environment where you can experience Isaku's history. By visiting after Tokushige Shrine, you can feel an even deeper connection between this region and the Shimazu clan.
