About this spot

A roadside station in Kyotamba Town where the area's farm produce and specialities are gathered. Kyotamba is known for chestnuts, black soybeans and soybeans, so the direct-sales corner offers a line-up quite different from a supermarket in Kyoto city. There is somewhere to eat, so families find it convenient to finish lunch right after shopping. The building is spacious, making it a good place to rest out of the sun as well. It is close to Tamba Nature Sports Park, so you can stock up on food and drink here in one go before the afternoon water play.

京都府立丹波自然運動公園こどもの広場ジャブジャブ池は、30,000㎡の芝生広場「こどもの広場」の中にある水遊び場です。まわりが一面の草地なので、水から上がってそのまま芝生に寝転がって体を乾かす、という過ごし方ができます。45mジャイアントスライダーや地下迷路、コンビネーション遊具がすぐそばにあるため、水と遊具を行き来しながら長く遊べるのがこの公園の強みです。入園は無料で、ファミリープールのみ別料金になっています。2026年の開設期間は未発表で、例年は夏休み期間に開かれます。

Tips

公式には「ジャブジャブ池についてはイベント開催時などに限り水張りを行っています」と記されているため、出かける前に水張りの予定を必ず確認してください。園内は9:00〜17:00で、12/29〜1/3は休園です。更衣室の案内は出ていないので、水着は下に着ていくかタオルポンチョを用意すると着替えがスムーズです。芝生の上を濡れた足で歩くと草が付くので、上がったらすぐ拭けるようタオルを近くに置いておきましょう。

Tips

Check the opening hours and closing days in the facility's information beforehand to be sure. It can get crowded at lunchtime, so arriving a little early makes it easier to get a seat. The vegetables and processed goods you buy will sit in the car until you head home, so a cool bag is a good idea. Checking where the toilets and nappy-changing area are will make the afternoon run more smoothly.
