This is a large shopping mall along a main road in Ichihara City. It has both a food court and restaurants, so even when the children's tastes differ, everyone can find something they want to eat. The building is air-conditioned, making it just the right place to cool down and rest before outdoor play in the afternoon. If you top up here on towels, changes of clothes, drinks, sunscreen and anything else you are short of for water play, you will not be caught out at the park. There are also nursing rooms and baby rest rooms, so it works well as a midday base even with a baby along.

市原市の住宅地の中にある緑地の無料の水遊び場「泉台中央緑地せせらぎ」です。人工のせせらぎ(水路)が緑地を貫いていて、水深が浅いので歩き始めたばかりの子でも自分の足で入っていけます。プールのように区切られていないぶん、流れをたどって歩く、水をせき止める、葉っぱを流すなど、子どもが自分で遊び方を見つけられるのがこの場所のよさ。まわりが住宅地なので、大型レジャー施設のような混雑がなく、落ち着いて過ごせます。利用は無料で、短時間だけ立ち寄る使い方もできます。2026年の開設期間は未発表で、例年は夏休み期間に水が流れます。

Tips

開設期間が未発表のため、出かける前に市原市の案内で当日の通水状況を確認してください。水路の底は滑りやすいことがあるので、素足ではなくマリンシューズやサンダルが安心です。住宅地の中の緑地なので、声の大きさや駐車の仕方に気を配りましょう。おむつが取れていない子は水遊び用おむつを用意し、遊んだあとは足をよく洗い流してください。

Tips

The food court gets crowded around noon on weekends and holidays, so shifting to the late 11 o'clock hour or after 13:00 makes it easier to get a table. Do not forget to secure a plastic bag for wet clothes. The parking lot is large, so parking near an exit makes the afternoon move smoother.
