A michi no eki (roadside station) located beside the Yoshii River along National Route 194. As an experience-oriented facility reflecting Ino Town's heritage as the birthplace of Tosa washi, visitors can learn authentic papermaking techniques directly from craftspeople. By gently moving a papermaking screen to gather fibers, you'll complete a unique washi sheet found nowhere else in the world. The facility includes a restaurant where you can enjoy dishes made with local ingredients alongside views of the Yoshii River. The specialty goods shop displays Tosa washi crafts and local agricultural products, with additional experiences available such as traditional weaving. It's a place where visitors will want to linger and explore fully, not just pass through.
Tips
Confirm the papermaking experience reception times and duration on the day of your visit. Since this experience involves water, wearing clothes with sleeves that roll up easily is recommended.
