About this spot
横浜の丘の上にある市立の動物園で、入園が無料という驚きの施設です。規模はほどよく、キリンやレッサーパンダ、ライオン、爬虫類まで幅広く見られるので、2時間もあればひと通り回れます。園内は木立が多く坂道が続くため、歩きながら自然と体が動きます。小動物とふれあえるコーナーもあり、小さな子でも楽しめる構成です。無料なので気負わず立ち寄れるのがよいところ。日差しが強くなる前の午前中に回り、午後のプールに体力を残しましょう。
Tips
入園は無料で、休園日があるため出発前に確認してください。園内は坂と階段が多いので、ベビーカーの場合は迂回路を確認しておくと楽です。駐車場はないため、公共交通機関での来園が基本になります。夏場は日陰を選びながら歩き、こまめに水分補給をしてください。
