About this spot

This is a major aquarium representing Kyushu located at the base of Umino Nakamichi, featuring a large tank themed around the Genkai Nada sea and popular dolphin and sea lion shows. The facility also has restaurants and food courts inside, and children love eating while looking at the tanks. After walking around the historical sites in the morning, you can rest and eat well before heading to the beach. During the summer vacation period, there are many events, so if you have time, take a light tour of the facility before heading to the sea.

福岡市東区の志賀島にある勝馬海水浴場は、博多湾側に面した波の穏やかな砂浜で、2026年は7月2日(木)から8月31日(月)まで開設されます。遊泳は無料。夏季はシャワーや更衣室、売店も整うので、手ぶらに近い身軽さで訪れられるのがうれしいポイントです。約300台分の駐車場が用意されているほか、公衆トイレ、ボードウォーク、芝生広場も備わっており、小さな子ども連れでも安心して1日過ごせます。波打ち際での水遊びから砂遊びまで、夕方まで思いきり夏を満喫しましょう。

Tips

夏季以外はシャワーや売店が閉まるため、営業期間中の来場がおすすめです。夏の砂浜は熱くなるのでビーチサンダルを。駐車場は約300台と広めですが、お盆前後の週末は早めの到着が安心です。芝生広場は休憩やお昼寝にも使えます。

Tips

It's about a 20-minute drive to Katsuma Beach. During the busy summer vacation period, there can be lines at the ticket counter, so early entry around noon is recommended. The air-conditioned interior is also perfect for cooling off in the heat.
