Kamakura Station, the starting point of your Enoshima Electric Railway journey. Transferring from JR reveals a retro platform awaiting small green trains. Purchase a one-day pass "Noriori-kun" at the ticket window and ride as many times as you like. Children's excitement builds from the moment the cute train slides into the platform.
Tips
The front-most seat in the front car offers a view of the driver's cabin and is hugely popular with children—a VIP seat. Boarding from the starting Kamakura Station early in the day increases the chance of getting a seat, so arriving at the platform a bit early is recommended.
Best time to visit
Allow 30 minutes; the platform around 9 AM is relatively quiet.
