A shopping street lined with over 250 shops stretching about 360 meters from Kamakura Station to Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine. From dango and senbei crackers to shirasu-don bowls and crepes, every step excites the senses. Just 4 minutes by Enoden train from Hase, this is the classic way to end your trip with delicious food and souvenirs.
Tips
Enjoy street food snacks at the shops' eat-in spaces—that's the proper etiquette. Weekend afternoons get crowded; it's easier to navigate with a baby carrier than a stroller. Fold the stroller if you have one.
